Aston Villa are nearing a deal to sign Tammy Abraham who is currently on loan at Besiktas from AS Roma.
The former Chelsea youth product left the Blues in 2021 to move to Italy and join Roma. Last season, the 28-year-old was on loan at AC Milan before moving to Besiktas this season where he has scored 12 goals in 24 games for the Turkish side.

According to journalist Jonathan Northcroft of The Times, Villa are working on a deal for the striker.
The deal is a tricky one for the Villa chiefs with Besiktas having triggered an obligation to buy the player at the end of the year.
Villa fans will no doubt remember Abraham spent the 2018/19 season on loan at the club where he was in great form and scored 26 goals in 40 games.
