Aston Villa are considering a summer move for highly rated Ibrahim Mbaye (18), according to reports from Sky Sports, with the Paris Saint-Germain forward emerging as one of Europe’s most promising young talents.

The 18-year-old has made 25 appearances in all competitions this season, largely from the bench, as he continues his development in a star-studded PSG squad. Despite limited starts, Mbaye’s potential has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs.

Villa’s interest reflects their ambition to strengthen an already progressive squad, though any deal may depend on whether they secure Champions League qualification. For Mbaye, the prospect of regular first-team football is understood to be a key factor in any decision regarding his future.

A product of PSG’s academy, Mbaye made his debut at just 16 and quickly etched his name into the club’s history by becoming their youngest-ever starter, surpassing the record previously held by Warren Zaïre-Emery.

Internationally, Mbaye has also made strides, representing Senegal at the Africa Cup of Nations, where he scored in the round of 16 and featured in the final.
