Chelsea would sell Kieran Dewsbury-Hall if a good bid came in, but as of yet there have been no offers for the midfielder according to Matt Law.

Dewsbury-Hall joined Chelsea for £30m last summer from Leicester City, but was mainly a squad player and made only 13 Premier League appearances, with just two of those as starts.

The 26-year-old was part of the squad which won the Club World Cup and he appeared in five of Chelsea’s seven games, including the final.

No offers for Dewsbury-Hall so far

Chelsea have been busy so far this summer and have already made three signings in Jamie Gittens, Liam Delap and Joao Pedro,

More new faces are expected to follow, whilst a number of players are set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

Dewsvbury-Hall has been mentioned as player who could move on, and there has been interest from Premier League clubs.

West Ham and Everton have been credited with having interest in Dewsbury-Hall, but the former Leicester man has shown himself to be a really valuable squad player.

The expectation was Dewsbury-Hall would leave, however Law has now provided an update on the situation.

“If Chelsea got what they consider a good bid for Dewsbury-Hall, they would sell,” he told The London Is Blue Podcast.

“At the moment I haven’t heard of a bid coming in for him.”

Chelsea stacked in midfield

The problem for Dewsbury-Hall is Chelsea are spoilt for choice in midfield with the options they have including the likes of Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.

Andrey Santos and Dario Essugo have also joined the squad this season, and minutes will be hard to come by for the Englishman.

However, if Dewsbury-Hall is happy with a bit part role, it would be of great benefit to Chelsea to have him around for the domestic cup games and to cover for injuries.
