Charles De Ketelaere was one of the surprise stars of the 2026 World Cup after his impressive performances for Belgium, and Atalanta have already established an asking price for the versatile attacker amidst rumours of interest from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.

Atalanta want €50m to sell De Ketelaere

De Ketelaere provided three goals and an assist from five appearances at the tournament in North America as Belgium recorded a quarter-final finish. The Atalanta attacker was the only player to score against eventual champions Spain across the entire tournament.

According to reports from the Corriere di Bergamo (via Calciomercato), interest in De Ketelaere is beginning to heat up as a result of his impressive performances at the World Cup.

Wednesday’s report claims that there is interest from the Premier League, as well as from the likes of Bayern Munich and PSG.

Atalanta will reportedly need an offer in the region of €50m if they are to be convinced into selling De Ketelaere this summer.

Previously, the Belgian was not expected to leave the club given that Atalanta had already arranged profitable deals to sell Marco Palestra to Chelsea and Ederson to Manchester United.

However, as Ederson’s move to Old Trafford is now off, the club are reportedly open to selling another big-name first-team star again, and Wednesday’s report indicates that if that is the case, De Ketelaere is more likely to be sacrificed than, say, Marco Carnesecchi.

Maurizio Sarri is also a fan of the Belgian’s, though, and Wednesday’s reports claim that the new Atalanta coach is hoping to deploy De Ketelaere as a key player in a 4-2-3-1, lining up just behind the centre-forward.
