Atlético Tucumán have offered their head coach position to Julio Falcioni after ending Hugo Colace’s tenure following the 3-1 defeat away to Belgrano. According to Radiogol.com, the offer followed that result.

Colace leaves with one win, two draws and four defeats. The Decano are already searching for a new manager.

The board and Technical Secretariat first targeted Omar De Felippe, who led the club in 2021 across 30 matches, recording 10 wins, seven draws and 13 defeats.

Cristian González and Daniel Oldrá were also considered, though Falcioni has gained traction in recent hours.

Falcioni has previously coached Vélez, Olimpo, Banfield, Independiente, Colón, Gimnasia, Boca, All Boys and Quilmes. He has not managed since his last spell at Banfield in 2024.

He will evaluate the proposal in the coming days before giving a response. Atlético Tucumán face Racing on Tuesday at 21.15 at the José Fierro.
