Real Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni has shared his early impressions of working under new head coach Xabi Alonso, who took over from Carlo Ancelotti at the end of last season.
In an interview with Marca, Tchouaméni expressed satisfaction with Alonso’s approach, noting that the new manager has introduced fresh ideas for both the team and him personally.
He stated, “I’m happy with Xabi Alonso – things are progressing smoothly, and he’s brought a new perspective. That said, I felt I was already in good form under Ancelotti, and my performances have improved noticeably since the beginning of 2025.”
