Sheffield United have announced the signing of former Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford.
The 32-year-old has penned a short-term deal with the Blades that will keep him at the club until January.
Bamford had been a free agent since leaving Elland Road in the summer after seven seasons with the club in which he featured 204 times for the club in all competitions, scoring 60 times. He had also been linked with a move to La Liga side Getafe over the summer.
Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder will be hoping Bamford can get firing for his new side as soon as possible for the South Yorkshire side, who are currently in the relegation zone ahead of their derby game against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough following the international break.
