Barça presidential election: Victor Font promises to bring back Lionel Messi

FC Barcelona is gearing up for a decisive presidential election in 2026. Among the declared candidates, Victor Font returns with a clear vision: to bring Lionel Messi back into the Barça project, one way or another.

Defeated by Joan Laporta in 2021, Font still hasn’t come to terms with the way Messi was used during the campaign, only to be forced out of the club a few months later to join PSG. Now, Messi plays for Inter Miami, where he’s under contract until 2028. Speaking with Mundo Deportivo, Font made his intentions clear:
