Nico Williams of Athletic Club has attracted the attention of several top European clubs following his standout performance with the Spanish team during the 2023-24 season.

Williams appeared in 37 matches across all competitions, scoring nine goals and contributing 19 assists. Moreover, his stock at UEFA Euro 2024 continues to trend upward, especially after his performance against Georgia in the Round of 16 matchup.

After conceding the first goal of the contest to Georgia, Spain scored four unanswered goals with Williams being one of the stars.

OptaJoe pointed on X that Williams is the only player on record at the UEFA European Championship (since 1980) to score a goal, assist a goal, and complete 100 percent of his passes (46 of 46) in a game he started.

According to a recent report from CaughtOffside, Williams has caught the interest of several top clubs, including Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, Barcelona, and PSG.

It will be interesting to see which of these clubs land Williams, who has a release clause set at €58 million. Bringing the Spanish winger on board would also require a substantial wage package.
