La Liga champions Barcelona could see their personnel options boosted by a pair of returns in the club’s 2nd outing of the season.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.
Barcelona, of course, are primed to return to action on Saturday evening.
Fresh off an opening day La Liga victory over RCD Mallorca, the Blaugrana will head on the road again, on this occasion to face Levante.
And as alluded to above, upon arriving at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia, Hansi Flick could well be able to call upon two players who missed out on opening weekend.
As per a report from MD:
‘Lewandowski is expected to be available tomorrow and [Flick] is confident in having Gerard Martín.’
Frontman Lewandowski missed out against Mallorca owing to a muscular injury, whilst defender Martín had not yet been registered for La Liga play.
The former has since been spotted back in training, though, whilst confidence appears to be growing that the necessary pieces will be put in place in time for Martín to be registered for tomorrow evening.
