FC Barcelona’s 2025/26 season was, above all, an attacking season. Yes, the defence had its moments and the midfield helped the attack function, but Hansi Flick’s team were all about scoring goals.
Flick’s side won La Liga with 95 goals in 38 matches, losing only six times. Two of those losses came after the title win, and the Catalan club finished a good eight points clear of Madrid.
This league title was not built on caution. It was built on embracing risk and playing an expansive style of football that always made Barcelona fun to watch.
The numbers tell a story. Lamine Yamal finished with 24 goals and 17 assists in all competitions. Ferran Torres delivered 21 goals.
Raphinha added 19. Robert Lewandowski scored 18. Marcus Rashford contributed 14 goals and 11 assists. Even Roony Bardghji, in a smaller role, found ways to leave a mark.
Lamine became the centre of gravity in attack this season. Ferran grew beyond being just a squad option and became a genuine starter for Flick.
Lewandowski and Raphinha may not have had the same impact as in the 2024/25 season, but still found a way to contribute to the project.
This was a title-winning attack with many faces. And, Barça Universal brings you the season ratings for the Barcelona forwards from the recently concluded campaign.

The 2025/26 season will forever be remembered as the season of Lamine Yamal. He finished as Barcelona’s top scorer across all competitions with 24 goals, while also providing 17 assists.
That is an absurd goal contribution tally for any attacker in one season, let alone a teenager. The 18-year-old was not just productive, he ended up becoming the magnet of this team. Barça’s attacks kept tilting towards him and, more often than not, he found a solution.
He shared the Zarra Trophy with Ferran Torres after both scored 16 La Liga goals, becoming part of a historic list for the club since the award was introduced in 2005.
There were quiet games. Early in the season, there was a lot of chatter regarding his injury situation. Like all great players, though, Lamine found a way to silence his critics.
As the season went on, Barcelona’s dependence on Lamine grew. Without a doubt, the Spaniard finished the campaign as the Catalan club’s best player.
Ferran Torres spent much of his Barcelona career being typecast as a very good backup player, but not quite good enough to become a starter. This season, he stepped beyond those shadows.
Ferran scored 21 goals in all competitions, second only to Lamine among Barcelona players. In La Liga, he matched the youngster’s 16-goal total.
The Spaniard’s season should be judged with honesty, though. He is not always elegant. There are games where he looks completely out of sorts and just cannot buy a finish.
If one zooms out, though, and looks at this season as a whole, Ferran’s contribution to a title win simply cannot be understated.

He attacked the box with conviction, finished with sharper precision and helped Flick prepare for life after Lewandowski, despite the Pole still being in the squad at that point.
For years, he was a useful option for Barça. This year, he became reliable.
Raphinha’s 2025/26 season did not hit the lofty heights of the previous year, but he still found a way to be useful. He managed to score 19 goals and provide seven assists in all competitions, including 11 goals in La Liga.
Raphinha is not a winger who always makes the game look clean. He can lose the ball. He can rush actions. Despite all that, his usefulness when fit simply cannot be understated.
He runs. He presses. He shoots. He attacks the far post. He plays as if every match is an argument he refuses to lose.
Injuries did not allow him to settle at all this season, though. Every time he looked to be building some steam, another setback would sideline him for a short period. Availability was an issue, but Raphinha still had a decent showing in Blaugrana.
Robert Lewandowski’s season feels like one of those chapters that fizzled out without much drama.
The numbers are still good: 18 goals in all competitions. He remained a good finisher. The movement inside the box was still there. The instinct just did not die down. Even as his role in the Barcelona team changed, his usefulness did not.
Time started showing its effects too. There were games where his link-up play looked heavy, where the tempo around him moved faster than his body wanted to.
There were also games where his presence remained priceless, especially when Barcelona needed a reference point, a penalty-box specialist or simply someone who understood how to turn half-chances into goals.
The difficulty in rating Lewandowski is that his decline, if we call it that, still produces numbers many forwards would envy. All things considered, 7/10 feels fair.

Barcelona fans did not know what to expect when the club signed Marcus Rashford on loan from Manchester United.
On paper, the production is impressive: 14 goals and 11 assists across all competitions. He had a very good showing in the Champions League as well.
But Rashford’s season was complicated. He gave the attack directness, goal output and a reliable replacement for Raphinha when the Brazilian was injured. However, his off-the-ball quality left a lot to be desired.
Every single time Flick was forced to play Rashford, Barcelona missed a lot in terms of intensity. It comes as no surprise that the German manager chose to sign Anthony Gordon, who addresses this concern.
For the terms on which he arrived, Rashford had a very good season at Barcelona. However, what he is may not be enough to compensate for what he is not, and that could influence the club’s decision on whether or not to keep him.
It is very difficult to rate Roony’s season, considering the limited sample size. His contributions came in flashes. He finished with two goals and four assists across all competitions, struggling to get game time due to the presence of Lamine.
Yes, the talent is visible. There is a sharpness in the way he plays. He is very associative, which makes up for his lack of one-vs-one dribbling.
Roony can have all the promise in the world, but he is unlikely to see many minutes as long as he competes for the same role as Lamine.
A loan or a sale with an option to buyback would represent the best solution, both for Barcelona and the player.
