“I’ve done several celebrations, but one of them was for Dani Olmo. He knows he’s very important for us and he’ll be there in the final,” he said as quoted by Mundo Deportivo.

Gavi also expressed his happiness that both Olmo and Víctor could now continue to support the team, adding that their presence is highly valued by the squad.

“I told him before that I was going to do it if he scored and I dedicated it to him. Both Dani and Pau are players who help us a lot and we’re all happy that they can play now,” he added.

About the performance

On a personal level, Gavi shared his satisfaction with the win, stressing that the team’s success was the most important thing.

He acknowledged his fortunate contribution through the goal and assist, but underlined that the focus should remain on securing the final victory.

He also stated that he was determined to “get better and better”. Despite some physical discomfort, Gavi explained that it was only a small issue, likely caused by stiffness, but nothing serious that would affect his readiness for Sunday’s match.
