Barcelona’s transfer plans for the new season could involve a significant reshuffle in attack, with Ferran Torres emerging as one of the players whose future remains uncertain.
According to journalist Luca Bendoni, the Spain international is willing to join Paris Saint-Germain once the FIFA World Cup concludes, while progress on a new deal at Camp Nou has all but stalled.
The timing of the development is notable, as Barcelona are closing in on the signing of Karim Adeyemi, a player capable of operating anywhere across the front line.
His expected arrival would strengthen Hansi Flick’s attacking options but could also reduce Ferran’s role within the squad.
With only a year remaining on his current contract, Barcelona are approaching a decisive period.
The club has consistently tried to avoid letting valuable assets enter the final stretch of their deals without either agreeing fresh terms or considering offers, making the coming weeks particularly important.

It is said that Paris Saint-Germain have begun laying the groundwork for a possible move by holding discussions with Ferran Torres’ representatives.
The French champions are assessing several attacking options after Gonçalo Ramos’ move to AC Milan, and the Barcelona forward is viewed as someone capable of covering multiple positions across the frontline.
That versatility is one of the biggest reasons Luis Enrique is interested in bringing the 26-year-old to Paris.
Having previously worked together with the Spanish national team, the PSG manager is well aware of Ferran’s ability to adapt to different tactical systems and attacking roles.
While Paris Saint-Germain are exploring other names in the market, Ferran remains firmly under consideration.
The player has also attracted attention elsewhere in Europe, with Atletico Madrid previously identified as admirers should Julian Alvarez complete his anticipated switch to Barcelona.

For Barcelona, however, the bigger concern is the lack of movement over a contract extension.
The longer negotiations remain unresolved, the greater the uncertainty surrounding one of the club’s most experienced attacking players.
Karim Adeyemi’s expected arrival has inevitably changed the conversation around Barcelona’s forward line.
The Borussia Dortmund attacker offers pace, direct running and the flexibility to play through the middle or out wide, qualities that closely mirror Ferran Torres’ profile.
Rather than carrying two players suited to similar tactical responsibilities, Barcelona could decide that this summer represents the right moment to make a difficult decision.
Hence, selling Ferran before his contract enters its final months would protect the club’s negotiating position while creating room for a new arrival.
