It is no doubt that Pedri ranks among the most differential players at Barcelona, even in a team brimming with talents such as Lamine Yamal, Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski.
The Spaniard has been the backbone of the Barcelona team for many years now, and although injuries have impacted his progress this season, he looks poised to end the campaign on a personal high.
Indeed, Pedri is on the verge of surpassing his best-ever goal involvement figures, needing just two more direct contributions in the remaining five league matches to set a new personal record.
The Spanish international currently has 13 goal involvements this season – two goals and 11 assists – with the assist tally alone already a career high.
Last season, his best campaign in terms of direct contributions, he registered 14 across 59 matches and 4,647 minutes.

Pedri has reached 13 this term in just 39 matches and 2,798 minutes, making the numbers all the more impressive in context.
His 11th assist came against Getafe on Saturday, when he produced a sublime pass to set up Fermin Lopez for the opening goal.
He then created a second chance that Lewandowski converted, though characteristically, Pedri opted to play the final ball rather than shoot himself.
The performance at the Coliseum drew a remarkable response – applause from the Getafe home crowd as Pedri left the pitch with his side winning 2-0.
Overall, in his career, Pedri has featured in as many as 241 competitive matches for Barcelona this season, during which he has racked up 28 goals and 32 assists.
