Barcelona need over €50m for Juventus’ Andrea Cambiaso | OneFootball

Juventus have set a firm price tag for Andrea Cambiaso, making it clear to Barcelona that any offer below €50m will not be considered.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Catalan giants are laying the groundwork for a summer move, viewing the versatile wing-back as an ideal profile for Hansi Flick’s side. However, Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti considers the 26-year-old a fundamental part of his project in Turin. Spalletti, who previously relied heavily on Cambiaso during their time together with the Italian national team, has no desire to lose a player capable of covering both flanks.

Cambiaso is currently tied to the Bianconeri with a contract running until June 2029. While the club is focused on balancing its books, they remain in a strong negotiating position and will only entertain onslaughts from top European clubs if their valuation is met.

For now, Barcelona is expected to continue monitoring his performances, which has seen him contribute three goals and four assists this season, before deciding whether to trigger formal talks.
