Paris Saint-Germain are through to the UEFA Champions League final after a 2-1 win over Arsenal on Wednesday night at Parc des Princes, sealing a 3-1 aggregate victory.
Arsenal came in needing goals to stay in the tie, but it was PSG who struck first. Fabián Ruiz calmly slotted one home in the 27th minute to put the hosts in front.
PSG carried that momentum into halftime and nearly doubled their lead from the penalty spot after a handball, but David Raya made a strong save to deny Vitinha and keep Arsenal’s hopes alive.
The pressure didn’t ease after the break, and Achraf Hakimi eventually hammered in a second to send the home fans into a frenzy. Bukayo Saka managed to pull one back, but it wasn’t enough to prevent PSG from booking their place in the final.

Mundo Deportivo journalist Ángel Pérez stated that manager Luis Enrique’s Barcelona ties are why he intends to root for the Spanish tactician, who will be looking to win PSG’s first Champions League trophy in club history when they face Inter Milan.
“I want Luis Enrique to win the Champions League,” Pérez said. “I don’t like PSG, nor their players, nor their fans… but Luis Enrique deserves everything good in life. A man that gave everything for Barça as a player and manager. He deserves it in memory of his daugghter.”
PSG have two more Ligue 1 matches to wrap up the season. Then, they have the Coupe de France final against Stade de Reims, and meet Inter Milan in the Champions League final.
