FC Barcelona have now reached South Korea as they continue their preseason tour in Asia. For La Blaugrana, the next two games will be a great test before they return to Spain. Fortunately, things have started off great for Barcelona in Asia so far.
Their first match was against Vissel Kobe in Japan, and the Catalan giants emerged victorious in that contest. With plenty of new faces making their debuts and some even managing to get on the scoresheet, Hansi Flick’s team did a lot right during that game.
Now, La Blaugrana are set to face off against another opponent as FC Seoul emerge as the latest challengers. As their first match in South Korea, Flick will want his side to get a good result and he could even repeat the same lineup he used from the last game.
Here is how Barcelona could line up for this fixture.
Expected Line-up:
Goalkeeper: Joan Garcia
After a brilliant debut for the Barcelona summer signing against Vissel Kobe, Joan Garcia could look to make a second consecutive start for the team.
Right-back: Eric Garcia
Never complaining and always ready to perform, Eric Garcia seems to be a player quite liked by Hansi Flick. Given that he started the previous game, he could look to start again.
Centre-back: Pau Cubarsi
An unwanted error led to a goal for the opposition last time out, but Pau Cubarsi will want to make amends. Him starting seems to be a likely option for Flick.
Centre-back: Inigo Martinez
A true veteran in defense, Inigo Martinez is a great partner for Pau Cubarsi. With a mix of Cubarsi’s youth and his experience, the two remain Flick’s most trusted centre-back partnership.
Left-back: Alejandro Balde
A machine on the left flank, it takes a lot from the opposition to simply stop Alejandro Balde. His speed and dribbling prowess are always a headache for opponents, and Flick could start him again.
A dynamic option in midfield, he tends to offer Flick’s team a lot of energy and intensity. Reportedly, he also seems to be on PSG’s radar right now.
CDM: Pedri
Always in control, Pedri’s presence always elevates those around him. Hansi Flick could look to use that against FC Seoul.

RAM: Lamine Yamal
Struggled in the last game, but Lamine Yamal has enough talent to bounce back and show his quality to the world again.
Sharp and energetic in the central areas, Fermin Lopez has all the tools to be a real threat to the opposition as the starting attacking midfielder.
The Barcelona captain was determined to help his side last time out, both in terms of being a goal threat and with his defensive duties. Having him start is always a boost for the team.
Always eager to make a difference, having Ferran Torres in the starting eleven would guarantee energy.
