Barcelona prodigy hits incredible 100-goal contributions milestone for club and country | OneFootball

Another night, another landmark for Barcelona phenomenon Lamine Yamal. 

This time, the teenage sensation has reached 100 direct goal contributions for club and country after his spectacular acrobatic finish against Oviedo.

According to figures compiled by Transfermarkt, the 18-year-old winger has now been directly involved in 100 goals.

Impressively, 82 contributions have come for Barcelona, while 18 have arrived with the Spanish national team.

What separates this milestone from most others is timing, as Yamal reached it at just 18 years, 6 months and 12 days old, an age where many players are still adapting to youth football. 

A look at the past

Notably, Yamal recorded his first assist for Barcelona’s first team on August 27, 2023, against Villarreal, when he was still 16. Just over a month later, he scored his first senior goal away at Granada.

Season by season, the numbers reveal remarkable consistency. During the 2023–24 campaign, Yamal contributed 16 goals and assists across 50 matches.

That figure surged in 2024–25, where he delivered 43 goal contributions in 55 appearances, establishing himself as one of Barcelona’s main attacking reference points. 

In the current 2025–26 season, he has already added 23 more, showing no sign of slowing down.

It is important to note how Transfermarkt defines contributions, meaning that penalties won and certain deflected goals are also included as assists. 

On the international stage, Yamal’s impact has been just as striking. With Spain, he has already played 23 senior matches, scoring 6 goals and providing 12 assists. 

His debut against Georgia on September 8, 2023, made him both the youngest debutant and youngest goalscorer in Spain’s history at just 16 years and 57 days.

At such a young age, Yamal is achieving what many can only hope for, and it is safe to say that this is only the beginning of a great career.
