Barcelona rival Real Betis for Kaiki signing | OneFootball

Barcelona have reportedly joined La Liga rivals Real Betis in the race for the signature of Cruzeiro star Kaiki Bruno.

Kaiki, for his part, is a 23-year-old defender who chiefly lines out at left-back.

The defender has long been considered one of the star performers in his home country of Brazil, with his performances in the colours of Cruzeiro having now begun to pique attentions across the water in Europe.

Spanish outfit Real Betis have over recent weeks been credited with an interest in the once-capped Seleção international, tipped to table a summer offer for his signature.

And as alluded to above, the Verdiblancos have since been joined by another leading La Liga club in the Kaiki sweepstakes.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, citing market insider Ekrem Konur, Barcelona are now also hot on the trail of the talented South American.

The Blaugrana are on the hunt for left-back reinforcements with a view to next season, with Kaiki having been earmarked as a potential low-risk, high-reward target.

The Belo Horizonte native, also in the sights of Flamengo, is valued around the €15 million mark.
