Barcelona set for imminent transfer funds boost | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona are in line for an incoming boost on the financial front.

This comes amid confirmation of Estanis Pedrola’s imminent move from Sampdoria to Serie A outfit Bologna.

Youngster Pedrola for his part made the move to Sampdoria from Barcelona on a permanent basis back in the summer of 2023.

And, as part of the terms of the transfer, the latter secured a 50% sell-on clause.

Amid the ongoing financial problems in Catalunya’s capital, Joan Laporta and co. will in turn no doubt be delighted to learn of the club’s former attacking starlet preparing for a Sampdoria exit.

As per a report from transfer insider Fabrizio Romano:

‘Estanis Pedrola joins Bologna on a loan deal with obligation to buy from Sampdoria.’

The fee involved is yet to be revealed, but whatever it proves to be, Barcelona will be entitled to half.

Pedrola has been pencilled in for a medical with Bologna on Monday.
