A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona is inching towards a summer exit from the club.

This comes amid the understanding that Ferran Torres is locked in active negotiations with European champions Paris Saint-Germain, over a potential joining of forces for next season.

Frontman Ferran is of course fresh off playing his part in Spain booking their spot in the semi-finals of the World Cup on Friday night.

All the while, though, activity is ongoing behind the scenes to sort his future at club level.

The former Manchester City man has seen his future in Catalunya’s capital thrown firmly into doubt over recent weeks, amid Barca’s efforts to reinforce Hansi Flick’s frontline.

The Blaugrana have this week added to the signing of Anthony Gordon with a deal for Borussia Dortmund standout Karim Adeyemi.

And if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then one club appear more than keen to take advantage of Ferran’s sudden potential availability.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:

‘Paris Saint-Germain are interested in Ferran Torres and the striker would welcome a change of scenery. The deal is progressing well. Luis Enrique ‘s team has been in talks with the player for several days now, aiming to sign him after the World Cup.’
