Barcelona star misses training ahead of imminent transfer | OneFootball

A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona played no part in group training on Friday morning.

This comes ahead of what is expected to be an imminent departure from Catalunya’s capital.

The player in question? Héctor Fort.

Youngster Fort has of course seen the subject of his future take its place front and centre in the media headlines surrounding Barcelona over recent weeks.

This comes after word was forthcoming that Hansi Flick had opened the door to the versatile full-back’s exit.

A number of clubs are understood to have expressed a keen interest in bringing Fort in ahead of the upcoming transfer deadline.

And as alluded to above, late this week, his Blaugrana exit appears to have moved a significant step closer.

As per a report from Diario Sport:

‘Héctor Fort was not seen this morning entering training with the rest of his teammates with permission from the club to work on an exit that is imminent.’
