Barcelona star Fermín López is now giving real consideration to departing the club before the summer is out.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have on Tuesday provided an insight into the situation.

The name of midfielder Fermín has of course taken its place centre stage in the headlines across not only Spain, but all of Europe over recent hours.

This comes after word was forthcoming that Premier League giants Chelsea are readying a late-window assault on the signature of the 22-year-old.

The Blues, it is claimed, are readying a big-money proposal for a player who was not afforded a single minute of playing time against Levante this past weekend.

As much, though, will only come in the case of Fermín giving the green light to the move, with those in the boardroom at Stamford Bridge having demanded as much within the next 48 hours.

And if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then Chelsea receiving their desired response is beginning to look like a real possibility.
