Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski has received a contract proposal from Major League Soccer outfit the Chicago Fire.

This of course comes amid the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the Pole’s future beyond the summer.

Lewandowski, as things stand, is primed to depart Barcelona upon the close of the 2025/26 campaign, when his contract terms are due to expire.

The former Bayern Munich man continues to play a leading role in Hansi Flick’s squad, fresh off finding the net once again this past weekend.

The fact remains, though, that he is set to turn 38 later this year.

For this reason, the most likely scenario remains that Lewandowski will soon be on the move.

And as alluded to above, this week, the veteran goalscorer has received an offer to take his talents to the USA.

As per a report from Diario Sport:

‘From Chicago it is assured that the club has already transferred its first firm offer to the Polish striker. A two-year proposal and a token according to his new role as a great figure.’
