Barcelona star spotted in attendance at Atlético Madrid vs Girona | OneFootball

A soon-to-be former member of the defensive ranks at Barcelona has on Sunday night been spotted in attendance at the La Liga meeting between Atlético Madrid and Girona.

The player in question? Clément Lenglet.

Stopper Lenglet has of course seen his name take its place front and centre in the Spanish media headlines across the week to date.

This comes after word was forthcoming that the long-standing efforts of the Barcelona brass to move the Frenchman on had at last borne fruit.

As confirmed by transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Lenglet is all set to take his talents to Diego Simeone’s Atlético Madrid, on loan for the season ahead.

And, as alluded to above, on Sunday night, the Atléti faithful were treated to their first glimpse of the club’s incoming signing at the club’s home ground.

The Rojiblancos are currently locked in La Liga action, in a highly-anticipated showdown with Girona.

And Lenglet was for his part spotted in attendance in the Wanda Metropolitano stands, stopping to take photos with a number of his soon-to-be club’s fans:
