A leading member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona is the subject of intense transfer interest on the part of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
That’s according to English outlet TEAMtalk, who point towards Raphinha as the player in question.
Wide-man Raphinha is for his part of course in the midst of nothing short of a spectacular campaign to date with Barcelona.
After finding the net twice en route to the Blaugrana’s 5-4 Champions League downing of Benfica on Tuesday night, the Brazilian took his tally to a hefty 31 direct goal contributions across all competitions.
And such endeavours, evidently, have not gone unnoticed at The Etihad…
As per a report from the aforementioned TEAMtalk, Premier League champions Manchester City are ready to offer up €100 million to bring Raphinha back to England this summer.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are also keen, but unwilling to match the financial outlay being proposed by Man City.
It now remains to be seen if the former Leeds United man has any interest in taking his talents back to the Premier League for next season.
