Barcelona to be handed major financial boost before winter transfer window | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona will imminently announce a major partnership agreement.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have on Sunday provided an insight into the ongoing discussions between the Camp Nou brass, and Nike.

As per the report:

‘The agreement is reportedly verbally closed and is only pending the formal signing ceremony.’

The ceremony in question has been pencilled in for late next month, after the Assembly of Delegates, which is expected to take place on October 19th.

Turning attentions towards the financial details of the deal, Nike, it is understood, have agreed to increase their annual payments to Barcelona to a sum well in excess of €100 million.

Not only that, but the Blaugrana will receive a substantial signing bonus which, according to MD, ‘will allow them to reach the 1:1 rule for registering players in LaLiga for the winter transfer market’.

The figures of the contract, in fact, have already been included in the Catalans’ budget for the 2024/25 campaign.
