Barcelona and Sevilla meet in La Liga at the Spotify Camp Nou on Sunday in a Matchday 28 encounter. The hosts are looking to keep their title push on track against a Sevilla side also in need of points.
Barcelona head into this game after a dramatic draw with Newcastle United in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie, where Lamine Yamal struck with virtually the final kick. Just before that, Barcelona earned a 1–0 win away at Athletic Bilbao, with Yamal again on the scoresheet to help his side tighten their grip at the top of La Liga.
Hansi Flick still has a lengthy injury list to manage. Alejandro Balde, Frenkie de Jong and Jules Kounde are all expected to remain out until around April because of thigh and hamstring issues. Andreas Christensen is also unavailable as he continues his recovery from an ACL injury.
There is better news regarding Gavi, who was named on the bench against Newcastle in midweek and could play some part against Sevilla. Lamine Yamal and Eric Garcia are both fully fit and in line to start, while Marc Bernal has been struggling with illness and will be assessed closer to kick-off.
With the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 still to come, Flick may opt to freshen things up slightly. That could mean starting opportunities for the likes of Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres as he looks to balance his squad across competitions.
Possible Barcelona starting XI: J Garcia; Araujo, Cubarsi, E Garcia, Martin; Casado, Pedri; Yamal, Olmo, Raphinha; F Torres.
The match will kick off at 3:15pm BST on Sunday, 15th March.
