Barcelona youngster set for move to La Liga rivals | OneFootball

An up-and-coming member of the attacking ranks at Barcelona is all set to make the move to La Liga rivals Celta Vigo.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Dani Rodríguez as the player in question.

Youngster Dani had for his part seen his name emerge as a prominent one in the media headlines surrounding Barcelona over the last week.

This came after word was forthcoming that the winger was attracting serious interest on the part of Valencia.

Not only that, but Barca were labelled as open to a deal, so long as they maintained control of Dani’s long-term future.

And if the latest word stemming from the media early this week is anything to go by, then such a transfer now appears imminent.

Valencia, however, will not be the 20-year-old’s landing spot.

Instead, as per a report from Sport:

‘Barça are close to reaching an agreement to transfer homegrown player Dani Rodríguez with an option to buy back. Everything indicates that he will go to Celta, a club that bid for him in recent days.’
