Bastia risk further sanctions after serious unrest at Armand-Cesari on 13 March, minutes after a 0-1 home loss to Boulogne-sur-Mer.
According to L'Équipe, the LFP disciplinary commission will rule on Wednesday evening. Bottom of Ligue 2 with five matches left, Bastia drew 1-1 with Amiens on Friday at Rodez's Paul-Lignon, a behind-closed-doors game moved off Corsica as an emergency measure.
A few minutes after the final whistle on 13 March, about fifty Bastia supporters, some masked ultras in black, vented their anger. A flare was thrown onto the pitch, a fire was detected in the stands and some tried to enter the dressing rooms.
The league panel will settle the case using an investigation report that reportedly highlights organisational failings without apportioning heavy blame. After that relocated fixture, Bastia must convince the commission there is no need to prolong the measure.
Their final home dates are against Saint-Étienne, matchday 31, and Le Mans, matchday 34, both chasing promotion and possibly play-offs. Any fresh disorder after a poor result could force a match to be abandoned, complicating the final table.
The first punishment is already severe, and the commission may avoid adding too much. It could hand down another one or two games behind closed doors, potentially suspended. To limit further damage, the club must present security guarantees and commitments from the public authorities, and some supporters have already received administrative stadium bans since 13 March.
