Matej Kovar has completed a permanent move to PSV from Bayer Leverkusen after PSV's 5-1 win over Excelsior triggered a purchase obligation.
Leverkusen will reportedly receive around €five million, the same fee they paid Manchester United in 2023. Kicker reports that Leverkusen also have a sell-on clause for the 25-year-old.
The Czech goalkeeper joined PSV on loan in the summer.
Kovar made 32 appearances for Die Werkself.
He has established himself as PSV’s first-choice goalkeeper this season, featuring 26 times so far.
