Bayern chief Uli Hoeneß rules out €200m Liverpool move for Olise | OneFootball

Recent reports have claimed that Liverpool are willing to pay up to €200 million to sign Bayern Munich star Michael Olise in the summer.

However, FC Bayern honorary president Uli Hoeneß has now closed the door to a summer move to The Reds for the Frenchman, saying that not even such a fee could convince the German champions to sell their star winger.

“Liverpool have already spent €500 million this year and are having a very poor season. We won’t contribute to them playing better next year,” Hoeneß told reporters at the KI Festival “data:unplugged” in Münster.

“We play this game for our fans. We have 430,000 members, we have millions of fans worldwide, and it doesn’t help them much if we have €200 million in the bank but play worse football every Saturday because of it,” The Bayern chief added.

Olise, 24, joined FC Bayern from Crystal Palace in 2024. His contract expires in 2029.
