The attack has seen the most changes in the FC Barcelona team this summer. Robert Lewandowski and Marcus Rashford have both left the club, while Anthony Gordon has been signed. Karim Adeyemi’s signing can also be announced any time now, as he has already passed his medical and his transfer is in its very last stages.
Going forward, they have the Argentine striker Julian Alvarez as their top target for this summer. Meanwhile, there can also be some changes in the backline. The Catalans are being linked with center-backs like Cristian Romero and Aymeric Laporte, and can make a move for any of them in case one of their current defenders leaves.
Meanwhile, another Barcelona defender who has been linked with a move away from the club in recent days has been the fullback Jules Kounde. He has been linked with several top level clubs lately, one of them being the German giants Bayern Munich.
However, the journalist Christian Falk, in his latest column on CF Bayern Insider, claims that while the Bavarians like the French international, they are not going to make a move for him this summer, and the player himself also wants to continue at the Blaugrana club.
For the Bundesliga side, the fullback is not a very viable target for them because they already have their ranks well filled. If the Catalans put the defender on the market, Bayern could consider him, but not before they part with one of their current defenders, most likely Sacha Boey.
The Bavarians could be particularly keen on a swap move involving Boey and Kounde, but Barcelona are highly unlikely to agree to such a transfer. Thus, a move to Bayern Munich does not seem too likely for Jules Kounde, especially as the player himself is keen to continue at his current club this summer.
