FC Bayern are currently not only working on the professional squad for the new season, but also on the numerous loaned players who are due to make landmark decisions in the summer. A total of eleven returning players are keeping the Munich management busy – and together they have a market value of around 74 million euros
The focus is particularly on João Palhinha, who impressed with strong performances during his loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur and played his way back to the fore there. Although Spurs have a purchase option of €28 million, they could try to reduce the transfer fee once again
A permanent sale would be hugely important for Bayern, as Palhinha is one of the biggest wage earners among loan players and would also generate much-needed income
Alexander Nübel also looks set to leave the club. Although the 29-year-old is officially returning to Munich after three years at VfB Stuttgart, he no longer plays a sporting role at the record champions
Bayern are planning for the coming season with Manuel Neuer, Jonas Urbig and Sven Ulreich as their goalkeeping team. Nübel is therefore said to be looking for a new club. There is reportedly interest from Italy and England, among others
Daniel Peretz, on the other hand, would have been able to move to Southampton on a permanent deal. However, as the English club was excluded from the promotion play-offs following an espionage scandal, this rule does not apply. Bayern must now find a new solution here too

The situation with Sacha Boey and Bryan Zaragoza is more difficult. Galatasaray would like to keep Boey, but the fixed purchase option of 15 million euros currently seems too high for the Turks. Nevertheless, a permanent stay in Istanbul is still considered possible
The situation with Bryan Zaragoza is even more complicated. AS Roma deliberately signed the Spaniard so that the obligation to buy was not activated. At the same time, the club apparently does not want to exercise the option to buy. Zaragoza is therefore returning to Säbener Straße without any clear prospects
Munich are currently examining various scenarios – from an outright sale to another loan with an option to buy
There is also a whole block of young players for whom solutions must also be found. Arijon Ibrahimovic aroused interest from the Premier League after his loan at 1. FC Heidenheim. Lovro Zvonarek is to be loaned out again, Tarek Buchmann could stay at 1. FC Nürnberg for another year
Armindo Sieb, Maurice Krattenmacher and Jonah Kusi-Asare are also among the open personnel issues of the summer
One thing is clear: the return to Munich is likely to be just a stopover for many loan players. The real work for Max Eberl and Christoph Freund is only just beginning.
