“We are doing well, very united, with those good feelings after the match against Real Betis. The fans also had that good feeling, although it was a great pity because we felt we could have won the game. We’re left with that bittersweet feeling. But we hold on to those good feelings to keep improving.

We have a very good, very healthy dressing room. We’re all together. I’m not one to look much at social media or listen to things - I know some things are being said… but in the football world, it’s always the bad or the negative that sells. There’s none of that here. We come every day happy, grateful to be here, and we give our best to keep improving and take Valencia CF where it deserves to be, as high as possible. People say that we’re in a situation where we want the coach to be sacked, and that’s unthinkable. As a person or as a player, it would never occur to me to do something like that. But that’s football. We understand the game, but at Valencia CF we don’t give space to that”.

Match against Real Betis

“It was a great match from the team in all areas. We were very intense, had quite a lot of possession, and understood the moments of the game. Although it was a pity because we felt good, the stadium was pushing us, and we wanted to win. But we have to keep the good feelings to continue improving and win. This is the way forward.”

Day-to-day

“The team, staff, and everyone at Valencia CF come in every day eager to give our best. The team and the fans deserve to be higher than where we are right now. The results we want - and I believe that for all the effort we make, we deserve that they will show in the coming matches.”

Fans

“We want to bring joy to the fans because they deserve it. They always fill Mestalla, even when we play away. They are the ones who deserve it the most, and we are working and giving our all to bring them joy.”

Valencia CF’s reaction against Real Betis

“It was something positive from the team because in previous matches, when we conceded a goal, it seemed like ‘the world was falling apart’ for us. It was a good show of character and proof that, even if we concede, we can keep playing the same way and turn the game around.”

Individual performance

“I feel very comfortable at Valencia CF, in the city, and I’m feeling better and better on the pitch. I’m working hard to give my best and hopefully that long-awaited goal will come.”

Playing Style“From the first day I said I would be the first to help the team wherever Corberán needed me. I like to have contact with the ball, and it’s always nice to get recognition from people for your work and effort. I’m feeling good, but I’m still missing that goal to round off a good match.”

Physical and mental training

“The world of football has changed a lot. At home, I like to do extra training sessions on my own, and on the mental side, I’ve been learning to manage things much better with the help of a psychologist. I have weekly sessions, and it’s very important to know how to handle all the situations that come up. All of this helps a lot to reach my highest level.”
