La Provence reports that the home of Marseille player Benjamin Pavard was targeted in an attempted burglary on Wednesday night.

His wife reportedly caught five men trying to enter the property in Marseille. Police arrested the intruders and they were taken into custody.

The suspects are aged 16 to 27 and are all from the Paris region. An investigation has been opened on suspicion of attempted burglary.

Burglaries at OM players’ homes are a recurring problem in the city.

The most recent case involved the club’s current head coach, Habib Beye, who was burgled in early April.
