AS Monaco were knocked out of the Coupe de France after a 3-1 defeat to Strasbourg, Mika Biereth scoring their only goal.
Nice-Matin notes that Monaco’s back line struggled. Köhn was composed from crosses before the interval, then beaten twice by Enciso.
Strasbourg led at half-time, Godo stealing in after Moreira’s footwork, with Vanderson caught between runners and Teze slow to react.
After the break, Enciso struck twice for Strasbourg, one move beginning with Barco slipping free of Zakaria. Biereth also found the net with a sharp finish into Penders’ far corner.
Coulibaly earned a five and created the goal with a fine pass. Adingra was lively after the break and hit the post, while Balogun headed against the bar. Kehrer endured a nightmare, rated two, the coach was marked four, the match six and the referee three.
