Manchester United have received a big boost ahead of their crucial Premier League clash with Aston Villa on Sunday.

Unai Emery has revealed that Jacob Ramsey, Leon Bailey and Amadou Onana are doubtful for the game after suffering injuries.

The trio will be assessed ahead of the game before taking a final call on their potential involvement.

The Villa manager said (via avfc.co.uk): “Both (Ramsey and Bailey) are doubts. I don’t know if they are going to be available for Sunday. He (Onana) is a doubt but I think he will be available.

“Tomorrow morning, even until Sunday morning maybe – Leon Bailey, Jacob Ramsey, Amadou Onana – and how they are recovering from the effort we did on Wednesday is going to be very, very important in my decision.”

Ramsey limped off in the first half in their 1-0 win over Bayern Munich. Bailey replaced the midfielder, but he was also substituted after spending just over 30 minutes on the pitch.

Onana apparently suffered a hamstring injury, but Emery is more confident about his involvement against United.
