Billiards: Porto duo shine on the world stage

José Miguel Soares and Rui Manuel Costa are traveling to Belgium this Tuesday to participate in a new stage of the Three-Cushion Billiards World Cup. José Miguel Soares enters the pre-qualifications starting from Wednesday, while Rui Manuel Costa makes his debut in the competition on Thursday, in the qualification phase for the final round.

The National Champion's stay in Antwerp extends until the following week, as José Miguel Soares will be Portugal's representative in the World Championship. In the fight for a place in the final round of this prestigious competition, the FC Porto player will face Colombian Pedro González and Vietnamese Tran Thanh Luc, on October 14th.
