Boca continue to reshape their 2026 summer window under Juan Román Riquelme, with manager Marcelo Delgado, as reinforcements arrive and a raft of loanees are processed.

According to LaNumer12.com.ar, Ángel Romero, 33, joins on a free after leaving Corinthians, signing a one-year deal with an option for a further year.

Santiago Ascacibar arrives after Boca bought 80% of his registration from Estudiantes de La Plata for around five million dollars. Brian Aguirre goes the other way on a one-year loan, with a 2.5 million option for 50%. Ascacibar has signed with Boca until 2030.

The board are also pursuing a winger and a centre forward.

In outgoings, Ignacio Miramon has completed his loan and returned to Lille in France. Cristian Lema and Frank Fabra depart as free agents. Luis Advíncula has terminated his contract.

A number of players returned from loans, including Jabes Saralegui, Gonzalo Maroni, Óscar Salomón, Nicolás Orsini, Agustín Heredia, Julián Ceballos, Israel Escalante, Juan Ramírez and Marcelo Weigandt.

Several have already gone back out, among them Lucas Brochero to San Miguel, Gabriel Aranda to Racing de Córdoba and Agustín Obando to Atlético Rafaela, all without purchase options. Gabriel Vega joins Nueva Chicago on a one-year loan with a 1.5 million option for 50%. Renzo Giampaoli heads to Gimnasia with a purchase option, while Valentino Simoni and Julián Ceballos join Gimnasia de Mendoza for one year, the latter with a US$2,500,000 option for 100%.
