Bournemouth are eyeing a move for Spurs’ winger Johnson. The 24-year-old was Tottenham’s top Premier League goalscorer last season, netting 11 goals in 33 league games.

He also scored the winning goal in their Europa League final victory against Manchester United in May to end the club’s 17-year trophy drought.

However, his fortunes have declined since Thomas Frank replaced Ange Postecoglou as manager.

The Wales international has been reduced to a peripheral role this season, starting just six Premier League matches.

Frank insisted that Johnson remains an important player for Tottenham following Sunday’s 1-0 victory over Palace.

Despite this, he may push for a move this winter to boost his chances of playing for Wales at the 2026 World Cup.

Bournemouth would love to bring him to the Vitality Stadium in January, but they face competition from Palace.

Spurs are unlikely to let Johnson go cheaply, given they paid £47.5 million to sign him from Nottingham Forest in 2023.
