As expected, Didier Deschamps has handed Bradley Barcola the left flank and restored Aurélien Tchouaméni in midfield for France’s World Cup semi-final against Spain in Dallas at 21:00.
According to L'Équipe, the PSG winger is preferred to his club-mate Désiré Doué, who started the 2-0 quarter-final win over Morocco but is on the bench this time.
The other tweak from the last match is Tchouaméni partnering Adrien Rabiot. The Real Madrid midfielder had been replaced by Manu Koné against Paraguay, a 1-0 round-of-16 victory, then against Morocco after a left thigh injury, and now returns to the XI.
Otherwise there are no surprises. Kylian Mbappé, withdrawn as a precaution against Morocco after an ankle knock, starts in attack.
France XI: Maignan, Koundé, Upamecano, Saliba, Digne, Tchouaméni, Rabiot, Dembélé, Olise, Barcola, Mbappé (cap.).
