Sporting CP edged past Estrela Amadora 1-0 at Estádio José Gomes to remain second in Liga Portugal.

Daniel Bragança settled the game in the 59th minute, steering a left-footed shot from outside the box into the bottom right after a pass by Trincão.

Rui Silva protected the Leões' lead, pushing away Max Scholze's low strike (70.) as Estrela pressed.
