Inter Miami's off-season spending efforts roll on this winter, with the MLS Cup holders completing a reported $15m move for Monterrey's Germán Berterame.

The 27-year-old Argentine forward becomes the latest addition to Javier Mascherano's outfit in South Florida, and will occupy the Herons' third Designated Player slot alongside Lionel Messi and Rodrigo De Paul.
Berterame, a Liga MX Golden Boot winner (2021) and All-Star (2022), shone for Rayados since his arrival in 2022, going on to hit 50 goals in 114 appearances.
Berterame joins a vaunted Inter Miami attack alongside the aforementioned Messi, Luis Suárez, Telasco Segovia, and Mateo Silvetti amid a squad reshuffle that has also seen the arrivals of Dayne St. Clair, Sergio Reguilón, David Ayala, Facundo Mura, and Micael.
Miami's ambition to become a dominant force in North America for years to come continues to manifest.
