Albion could loan Ibrahim Osman to Birmingham City as they consider another Championship move.
According to TheArgus.co.uk, the Ghana international is of strong interest to Blues. There have been unconfirmed suggestions in the West Midlands of progress towards a loan, and he is a known Birmingham target.
Osman has spent this season on loan at Auxerre, making 14 appearances, seven starts, most recently featuring in a 2-0 defeat by Brest a fortnight ago.
He joined Albion for an initial £16 million from Nordsjaelland as last summer’s window opened, a deal lined up months earlier. He previously spent last term on loan at Feyenoord in the Eredivisie and Champions League, making 29 appearances and scoring three goals.
Birmingham are eyeing a Premier League push but sit eight points off the final play-off place and could see on-loan winger Lewis Koumas return to Liverpool.
Auxerre are second-bottom in France, two points off the relegation or promotion play-off spot and six points from confirmed safety.
Albion have already agreed loans with Birmingham for James Beadle and Eiran Cashin this season, although Cashin is now with Blackburn Rovers. The St Andrews squad also includes former Albion players Max Sanders and Marc Leonard.
