On a day where James Milner could equal the all-time Premier League appearance record, another bit of history has been made by a Brighton midfielder.

Youngster Harry Howell was already the youngest player to play for the Seagulls in the Premier League but today he went one further after being handed a maiden start by Fabian Hürzeler.

While Brighton have a few injuries, notably to Yasin Ayari, their bench is still relatively stacked which only shows the trust and belief in the teen midfielder.

In fact, he is starting ahead of his cousin Jack Hinshelwood.

Howell isn't the only teenager in the Brighton lineup with 18-year-old Charalampos Kostoulas starting up front over Danny Welbeck.

Can one of the youngsters inspire a much-needed league win for the Seagulls or will a legendary veteran or two be required off the bench?
