With the winter window shut, the Bundesliga witnessed a late burst of business. According to BuLi News, here are the 10 standout Deadline Day moves.
RB Leipzig took Brajan Gruda on loan from Brighton, giving him the number 10 with Assan Ouedraogo out long term, and also signed 18-year-old Ayodele Thomas from PSV for 400k. The Germany U21 and the Netherlands U19 wingers add pace and creativity.
Wolfsburg landed Jeanuel Belocian on loan from Bayer Leverkusen, the 20-year-old is back from a cruciate injury and covers left-back and centre-half. They also bought Ghanaian centre-back Jonas Adjetey from Basel for 9.5m to bolster defence.
Bayern sent Bryan Zaragoza to Roma on loan after regular minutes at Celta Vigo earlier this season, with an obligation to buy tied to performance. Teenage midfielder Felipe Chavez joined Köln on loan with an option to buy and a Bayern buyback after his first senior outings, having debuted for Peru at 18.
Gladbach recruited Swedish winger Hugo Bolin on loan, and he already has two senior caps. Left-back Luca Netz departed for Nottingham Forest for 2.5m with six months left on his deal after limited starts behind Lukas Ullrich.
Mainz replaced season-ending casualty Benedict Hollerbach by taking Sheraldo Becker on loan from Osasuna, the former Union Berlin forward reunites with coach Urs Fischer. Augsburg signed 19-year-old Nigeria striker Uchenna Ogundu from Alanyaspor for 4.5m after three goals in 20 games, offering versatility across the frontline.
