CAF Champions League: Al Ahly asserts authority, Young Africans defeated (2-0)

CAF Champions League: Al Ahly dominates Young Africans (2-0)
In an increasingly unbalanced Group B, Al Ahly continues its impressive march forward with commanding authority. After making a powerful statement against JS Kabylie in their opening match and surviving a turbulent away trip to Morocco against AS FAR, the Cairo giants once again confirmed their superiority in front of their home crowd against Young Africans.
The match swung decisively just before halftime, when Mahmoud Trézéguet opened the scoring with a header in first-half stoppage time. It was a blow at the worst possible moment for the Tanzanians, who were already struggling to cope with Al Ahly's relentless intensity.
In the second half, the Egyptians sealed their victory for good, with Trézéguet grabbing a brace after a precise finish following an assist from Emam Ashour. A 2-0 triumph, consolidating their leadership with seven points, while Young Africans remain on four, awaiting the outcome of the clash between JSK and AS FAR, both still chasing their first win.
