The race for the eight coveted quarter-final spots in the CAF Champions League 2025 is heating up.
Three clubs have already punched their ticket to the next round of Africa's premier competition: Stade Malien (Mali), along with Pyramids FC and Al Ahly (Egypt).
The identities of the remaining five quarter-finalists will be revealed on Sunday after the sixth and final matchday of the group stage.
There’s a strong possibility that two clubs will finish level on points for second place in their group. To separate them, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has established the following criteria:
1- Points in head-to-head matches between the tied teams.
2- Goal difference in head-to-head matches.
3- Goals scored in head-to-head matches.
4- Away goals scored in head-to-head matches.
5- Overall goal difference (across all group matches).
6- Total goals scored in all group matches.
7- Total away goals scored in all group matches.
