Several players made a name for themselves during the group stage of the Africa Cup of Nations – CAN 2025. Here are the top performers according to the specialist site Sofascore.
Nigeria’s Raphael Onyedika, who netted two goals, leads the pack with a stellar rating of 9.40%. He is followed by Gaël Kakuta (DR Congo) and Ernan (Mozambique), who earned ratings of 8.60% and 8.45% respectively.
The top five is rounded out by Ademola Lookman, who contributed 2 goals and 2 assists, and Riyad Mahrez, the tournament’s top scorer so far with 3 goals, key to Algeria’s victories over Sudan (3-0) and Burkina Faso (1-0).
